• Sow seeds 0.5 cm deep, 20 cm apart in rows 30 cm apart. Keep in darkness until sprouting.

• Grow in fertile, well-drained soil (pH 6.0-7.0). Water regularly. Needs full sun. Watch for thrips.

• Cut leaves 5 cm above ground. Store in a jar with water in the refrigerator for a week.
