You may have learned that plants are living things. Exactly like people, animals, and insects, they start out as babies. They grow. They get sick. As they age, they die. Why is this vital? If you can visualise yourself as a plant for a moment, then this can frankly help you to grow a plant perfectly. Just like humans, it must grow in a good atmosphere. It needs a place where it feels loved. So, the first step is to pick a location, perhaps a place your plant can get signed at its own name forever. Somewhere it receives enough sunlight throughout the day.
Now, choose a container as a cradle for our baby plant. They can be plastic containers, pebble pots, or plastic flats. So long as they're clean (soak them in nine parts water to one part dish soap for ten minutes), the options are limitless.
Now it's time for the most thrilling part! Plant the right seeds carefully and watch them sprout. Before filling seed-starting containers, wet the soil with warm water. Dig them three times down into the soil. Make sure that the roof of the plant is fully submerged in the soil. You can skip using garden soil as it’s too heavy instead, go for any premium potting mix like our Magic Soil. Just like its name, Magic Soil is an all purpose potting soil, rich in nutrients needed for healthy growth of your plant.
Cover your container to allow trap dampness inside before germination. You can also use plastic bags, but they should be supported so they don't lay flat on the soil.
Keeping them happily healthy is the foremost thing. It's very important to water your plants every day. If you don't, they may die. Overwatering can be wrong and may get your plant sick. Some plants need very little water. OK, so now you know that you must water regularly. But are you spooked, will you give it too much or too little and ruin the gift for the plant parent? Relax. We’ve got your back. To water adequately, all you have to do is look out for your plant, and it will tell you what makes it happy. Look at it. Really look at it. Does it look healthy? Things are likely fine. If you feel it’s thirsty then go ahead and water it. If you feel the leaves get ever leaner perhaps it is too much water. Think like a plant! Pay attention to how it reacts while you're taking care of it.
We hope you didn't forget that the plant needs more to lead a happy life!
A plant in need is a plant indeed. If it weren’t for you and your enthusiasm to learn the gardening basics, it would wilt and perish. But you’ve come a long way. And you know of a place that it could populate at your home, and you intend to take good care of it and it's happy! You now know how to grow a plant! You have grown one with all your sweat in and we are loving it.
And growing plants all the way from seed to maturity is one of gardening’s most rewarding endeavours. Congratulations to you too and thank us later! Growing a plant at home isn’t that hard when you’re pretty caring and patient.
